This is a legend is made up among the hobbyist groups. They do nothing but raised colorful fish and have charity competiton in asia. Since flowerhorn is a fish will require some serious investment in care, feeding, and most importantly the stablization of its hybrid genes. Many people predicted this trend will not last anymore than a year since its creation. Its been 6 years since the first creation of flowerhorn, and it has been in the US for 3 year now. Still, many hobbist are unaware of their existance.
